You don't need fancy wooden cutting board to make this. The way I prepared this for family and entertaining uses cedar wood planks (6$) and parchment paper. I wrapped my cedar plan in parchment paper and secured it in the back with tape to secure it.
I use a few sheets of parchment paper in order to prevent splinters.
I always like to bring homemade sourdough for friends and family for the holidays. You want people to enjoy your homemade bread, so why not give them the perfect accompaniment? Some quality compound butters add flare and highlight seasonal flavors. I have my family use the cut up pieces of bread to dip right into the butter. I did some sweet flavors and savory flavors, so everyone can enjoy!

1 block of Kerrygold Pure Irish Butter (salted)
2 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp red chili flakes

Drizzle hot honey
Instructions:
In a food processor, add your room temperature butter, and all ingredients above EXCEPT hot honey.
With a rubber spatula, scoop out your butter and place on the parchment paper-lined cedar plank.
Let sit for 15-20 minutes and then it will be soft enough to mold into smooth shapes. Swirl your butter with your rubber spatula on the parchment paper to create pockets for perfect scooping.
